No.IR010/2002 May 29, 2002 Re : Notification of Progress in Investment in Depot Project at Suvarnabhumi Airport and Provincial Airports To : President The Stock Exchange of Thailand The Company would like to notify the progress in investment in Depot Project at Suvarnabhumi Airport that on May 29, 2002, the Company entered into the Consultancy for the Service Detail Design and Construction Management Contract with Penspen Limited ,Uthai Consultant Co., Ltd.and Trio Consultant Co., Ltd. with a total value of approximately 153 million bath. The detail design stage is expected to be completed in November 2002. After that, a bid for construction process will be opened approximately in December 2002. The construction will be completed approximately in June 2004. The initial construction value is estimated to be approximately 1,300 million bath. Moreover, for the aviation refueling service at the provincial airports which is now operated solely by PTT PLC.("PTT") except for Samui Airport and Sukhothai Airport which are serviced by BAFS, the Company would like to notify that the Department of Aviation has confirmed the allocation of the area inside its provincial airports for both BAFS and PTT to provide the aviation refueling service to airlines. This will encourage a competition among the operators and serve the purpose of the liberalization of aviation fuel supply and aviation refueling service at provincial airports. This will also serve a demand of domestic airlines and will help lower their refueling service cost. In so doing, the Company will prepare for personnel and relevant equipments thereafter.
