BAFS commitment to the conservation of natural resources through “Carbon Credit from Community Forests for Sustainability project” in collaboration with Mae Fah Luang and a network of 14 leading organizations.

On August 17th, M.L. Nathasit Diskul, the President of BAFS, participated in a commitment to conservation of naturals resources and a discussion on the topic “Private Sector Environmental Policies and Sustainable Development”. This event was organized by the Carbon Credit Management in Community Forests for Sustainable Development project network, in collaboration with the Mae Fah Luang Foundation under Royal Patronage (MFLF) including the government sectors, private sectors, and local communities, to manage carbon credits in the forest for sustainable development. The project aims to achieve the net zero goal by 2050. Additionally, it contributes to driving the development and enhancing of local communities, preservation the forest, wildfire prevention, increase the amount of biodiversity in community forests and establish sustainable income for local communities
