BAFS Group has been officially certified as a Carbon Neutral Company for all its subsidiaries for the first time.

BAFS Group has officially received Carbon Neutral Company certification for 2023 for all subsidiaries for the first year of this achievement. The greenhouse gas emissions from the operations of each subsidiary are detailed as follows:

  • BAFS, BPS, and Regional Airports: 6,326 tons of CO2 equivalent
  • BPT: 7,763 tons of CO2 equivalent
  • BC: 175 tons of CO2 equivalent
  • TARCO: 129 tons of CO2 equivalent
  • BI: 334 tons of CO2 equivalent
  • BID: 51 tons of CO2 equivalent

All companies have fully offset their greenhouse gas emissions by purchasing carbon credits from the Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program (T-VER). The certification was granted by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization). Furthermore, BAFS Group has set a goal to further reduce greenhouse gas emissions and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
