BAFS has expanded its waste segregation initiatives by participating in the Low Emission Support Scheme (LESS), certified by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO. In 2024, BAFS launched two key initiatives under the program: "Road to Zero Waste" campaign and the production of organic compost from food waste in collaboration with the “Farm Hugs” project. These efforts have been evaluated to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 29.254 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, demonstrating continued success for a second consecutive year. This success reflects BAFS’s strong commitment to efficient waste management, minimizing environmental impact, and supporting the transition toward a circular economy. BAFS will continue to enhance its waste segregation and reduction efforts, contributing to a more sustainable society in the long term.
