BAFS Joins Award Ceremony “Joining Forces to Reduce Global Warming Towards a Sustainable Future”

On September 24, 2025, the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), or TGO, hosted the event “Joining Forces to Reduce Global Warming Towards a Sustainable Future” in Bangkok. The forum was held to recognize and express appreciation to organizations that have played a vital role in driving the nation’s greenhouse gas reduction targets, marking the 11th anniversary of the Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program (T-VER). The event was attended by representatives from government agencies, the private sector, and environmental networks. At the ceremony, Bangkok Aviation Fuel Services Public Company Limited (BAFS) was presented with an award for its “BAFS Solar Cell Project” implemented at the Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang oil depot. This project has successfully increased the use of clean energy, reduced reliance on fossil fuels, and significantly cut greenhouse gas emissions, demonstrating a strong balance between business operations and environmental stewardship.

The recognition not only affirms the success of the project but also reinforces BAFS’s unwavering commitment to reducing carbon emissions, advancing clean energy adoption, and driving meaningful environmental change. It further aligns with Thailand’s national goal of achieving Carbon Neutrality and Net Zero Emissions, as well as supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Looking ahead, BAFS remains dedicated to expanding renewable energy initiatives and enhancing environmental management practices to help create a secure and sustainable future for Thai society.
